Methodology
The method is the citation.
Three steps. A written scope first. Collection only inside that scope. A deliverable that keeps the source next to the figure.

Scope.

The question, in one paragraph.

The decision the answer is meant to inform.

Geography, time window, and the deliverable: memo, table, or dashboard specification.

An out-of-bounds list. Surveillance, location of persons, and other investigative acts are declined here, not later.

Collect.

A source log: name, citation or URL, access date, and what was taken from it.

No pretext calls. No access to an account that is not the client’s to give.

Client or counsel materials are labeled as provided. They are not treated as independently verified unless the scope says so.

If a source is missing, the gap is named. It is not filled with an estimate dressed up as a fact.

Deliver.

Findings sit apart from sources.

Conflicts between sources are shown, not averaged away.

A recommendation, if one is asked for, is marked as a recommendation.

You can cite the memo because the source is attached.

What licensed partners do.
If a question needs investigation, the work stops at this desk. It goes to a licensed California private investigator retained by you or your counsel, who does that work under their own license. SP Hunt does not perform the investigation and does not subcontract it. When counsel directs the matter, the non-investigative portion uses attorney-directed language.
How partners are named.
A partner, licensee or client is named on this site only with their written permission. Until that permission exists, none is named and no logos are shown.
The line this desk does not cross.
SP Hunt is not a private investigator. It does not hold a California private investigator license and does not offer surveillance, location of persons, pretexting, hacking or doxxing. The quote form asks you to acknowledge this before it opens, and that acknowledgement stays required.
